Reject Notice
Does anyone know anything about reject notice from USCIS. I recieved a reject notice and all the document package back from them. I first submitted on March 30 and received that reject notice letter on May 28th. Then I resubmitted again on June 6th by now my check not have been cashed out and I haven’t received any mails from USCIS.
I need advice for you guy. Please help🙏
1st reject notice said :
Your I130, fee and any supporting document is being returned to you for the following reasons:
Your I130 form is being returned to you because the eligibility you filed under requires that you file an I485 too. Please resubmit both forms and the appropriate fee in order to continue processing.
2nd reject notice said:
This is in reference to I485, Application to register permanent residence or adjustment of status, you submitted. Your I485, fee and any supporting documents is being returned to you for the following reasons:
Based on the information your provided, a visa is not immediately available for your priority date. USCIS will accept form I485 according to monthly visa bulletin that DOS publish.
What does this reject notice mean? anyone knows? What should I do any advice please?

are you submitting these applications yourself? are you in the US or a foreign country abroad? you will be better off getting an immigration lawyer

@emi l ok, so that is why you can't adjust your status. The best option is for your husband to apply for citizenship and then once received advise USCIS and after that you may adjust.
Otherwise, once the I130 is approved, you will have to go back to your country for consular processing

@Holly Allen but the problem is my I130 was rejected also. I don’t know why my I130 was rejected too. is that because I don’t pay the right fee as USCIS change new fee this April and I first submitted on March 31 .

@emi l yes that may be the cause. review the form and see if the fee paid is the current fee, if not, do the correct fee and resubmit

@Holly Allen my lawyer already resubmitted both I130 and I485 again on June 6th, but I have not received any mail or receipt number yet by now. My lawyer said I probably have to wait until I485 to get approved first in order to get I130 approve. It does not sound right to me.
