Reentry permit
Hi, I am applying i131 form ( Reentry permit ) because of some critical situation in the family. i have few questions so please answer if possible. Thanks in advance.
1. Can I leave the United States after my biometric appointment?
2. should I wait and live in USA until I get the approval notice from USCIS?
3. Can I give the address of US consulates in india to collect the Reentry permit if I wish to travel to india.

USCIS will consider your application abandoned if you leave without your travel documents in hand. get your card in hand before you travel.

get a emergency travel document by contacting uscis. this will allow you to travel for 30 days. hopefully that will help you in current scenario. talk to your lawyers, they know how to approach uscis on your behalf to schedule an appointment and get you a emergency document.
