@pal Pal finally the judge found you guilty of reckless driving or not? what was the sentencing? ticket? did you spent any night in jail? in what state did this happen?

@Chucks chachacha speeding ticket and reckless driving that’s totally different story. reckless driving is in most states criminal misdemeanor and sometimes even felony.

@survivor p No, I didn’t go to jail nor arrested the judge made me paid $390 and that’s it.

@survivor p will a reckless driving which got lowered from dui alcohol effect case dui was on 2020 and filed vawa on 2022 and now on probation till 2025

@chris rod it’s hard to predict because everything is in a discretion of officer. however anything related to criminal charges affect VAWA more than regular green card application. you filed your petition 2 years after, so they know about it and they didn’t denied you, so hopefully everything be good

@pal Pal I had been waiting since 2017 and VAWA denied after 6 years in sep 2023. Then I refiled and got prima facia and ead and travel document. Hope I should bear good news. I am tired of this my God

@pal Pal They were not so convinced with the provided evidences as I didn’t collect much joint documents when we were together in that short time we lived together because I was not having any idea about this filing for green card at the begining. Within a year she was so rebellious and showing her true nature and attitude and wasn’t supporting me and one day just ignored me. When I refiled the new lawyer reviewed the denied letter and then appropriately attached necessary documents to shooort the case.

First submission I got two RFEs but no prima facia. Since I refiled in sep 2023 I got first time prima facie in dec 2023 and combo card in Feb 2024. It’s been close to a year since I refiled and didn’t receive anything as of now.

hello I have a case pending I-765 I believe, and i recently got a citation during summer for minor in possession of alcohol. I went out with buddies took a sip of my friends drink and got caught up. I got it dismissed. But i have had sleepless nights stressing. and my biometrics are tommorrow. how much could this affect my case?
