Hey fam, good morning, just want to quickly ask if anyone with NTA or removal proceedings has gone for hearing this year and what was the outcome? cos my attorney is asking for another 5k to represent me in court. After much previous payments to the firm. please I need a constructive answers. thanks

@year 2022 Yes it’s my master hearing I already have an attorney for my case but insisting of another 5k just to represent me 😢

I wouldn't go to a Master Calendar hearing without an attorney nowadays.
If you retained an attorney for VAWA, you hired and paid for VAWA. Removal defence representation isn't covered under the previous retainer. If you can't pay for the new representation, I would look up non-profit VAWA organizations in your area that are EOIR-accredited and seek their help. Good luck!

@Muhammad E. that’s why I’m just being skeptical about going alone. @chui salin yes I have a pending vawa recently refilled cos the first one was denied. @application filler year 2022 it’s in person.
