received noid without interview
Hello all, my husband received a NOID for bona fide marriage. We didn’t submit any proof with my initial application but did submit photos, bank account detail and utility bill afterwards. I don’t think they looked at it because they are asking to submit everything again. My plan was to take everything to the interview so i was bit surprised to receive a noid instead of a rfe. I haven’t had an interview yet. I also received noid for medical. I got the courtesy letter on sept 2 so i got my medical done. I will mail them the envelope. Why noid for medical? My question is what is the best way to reply to noid via mail or submit everything online for bona fide marriage ? And how many affidavits are enough. Thanks.

it means they are about to waive your interview so they need more proofs... send everything (joint) you may have with your spouse. For the affidavits, 4 is the ideal from family, friends and if you are a church person, get one from the priest or an elder church person. Also don't forget to notarized them. SEND EVERYTHING YOU MIGHT THINK WILL BE HELPFUL... EVEN THE ONE YOU MIGHT NOT THINK. The best way is to send the NOID via mail like that you have 1 month and 3 days but my advice is to leave a week gap before the end of the 33 days.

My advice is for you to mail everything in, since you can’t submit medical online anyway

the funny thing is in the noid they say after the interview we have concluded that we don’t have enough evidence. I never had an interview. we have been married for only 8 months so I was expecting an interview and was prepared in my mind that I have to submit everything then. If they are planning to waive the interview that would be awesome

I am not on the lease because we are planning to move to another state soon so would that be a problem?. I am on the utility bill.

@BAYANO PARKER do the affidavits have to be notarized? do I have to include ID proof of the person with them?

yes... just write letter for them and let them notarized it. letters can be notarized at any ups. You don't have to submit proof of ID.

hi, if you search NOID on this app you gonna see my posts! I received a noid as well, same FO 🤣 I had the worst time NGL!! I got my approval after 3 months of sending the evidence, they asked for my medicals on the noid!! good luck!

I received the noid 2 months after a filled my i130 and i485🤡🤡🤡🤡 the good thing is that orlando is sending A LOT of noids and they are waiving interviews.
