this seems to be the new letter everyone Is receiving so just verify the address they have provided to check if it actually aligns with a real USC.I.S. office and you can proceed to submit your medicals (sealed). Based on any new marriage evidence you have gathered you can submit that too as it may speed up your case processing!

which field office ?

it’s asking you to provide your medical if you didn’t submit one and it’s also asking for additional documentation to prove your marriage is bonnafide. submit your medical along with the other documents along with a copy of that email to the field office that has your case.

You need to send your medical In hurriedly to get your case approved. Once you get this email, they are escaping your interview and moving to approval. Stop wasting your time by submitting your medicla now. Congratulations

This means you need to go do your medical and send it in to the office on the courtesy letter asap.

My case is a bit different and still got the same email, my case was admin closed for a year then reopened last month. I already submitted my all documents (Medical and all) and did my interview so i have no idea what they need right now. email look so generic to me and might got sent to all with pending approval as it seems. last paragraph in the email stating that its a courtesy email and not an official RFE request.

i received the same notic in email, not in mail and i can not see this notic le in online uscis portal. can enyone enoight me how did you guys receive that notice, i mean in what form. also my PD is March 22, 2022. Notice has San bernandino address. also I have moved from california to new jersey in august 2022.

@Tinn Esteban i have updated my address by uscis online account. i did not called or did not sent mail to them. Also, i have received RFE on my new address back on sep 20, 2022 and last update on my i130 was they received my response to RFE on October 20th, 2022. after that no update until i got this courtesy notice email in email on March 17, 2023

@Tinn Esteban I receive the same courtesy notice the same day as you, I guess a lot of cases were transferred from the NBC to San Bernardino FO, not sure if this is something good or the processing time starts now with that FO times (14.5 months :( ). PD I also sent my medical with my application in September last year.

My husband is my sponsor. I didn't receive anything, but he got that same email, same date, same everything. But I though it was weird because that information is not updated on the online account and I didn't receive any letters either. Also immigration uses ".gov". So I'm not sure how to proceed. Because the Medical Exam expires, so I'm afraid to do it. Been trying to contact uscis about it, but it's difficult.

I received same mail last Friday March 17th with same content except that it said the case was transferred to San Diego office. I also have done interview last year (in May), submitted medical, all the evidence of marriage. I received combo card in July. And then I have been waiting until now. I don't think there is anything new that I need to submit. Lawyer said there is nothing to do but waiting. Finger crossed!

it’s a poorly worded, ultra confusing notice. I understand USCIS is upping their engagement with “customers”. I nearly started ripping my hair out because I had sent in everything they asked for and confirmed it by looking at the scans of our submission. again, I appreciate the reason USCIS is sending these courtesy notices - but next time try focus grouping the language so we all don’t panic over really what is a good thing. peace

@Tinn Esteban hey, I got a similar letter (in mail) today from the Fresno FO. it seems there just giving the chance to add more documentations to our applications before they actually have to send RFEs. I’m thinking this might be some sort of a new policy they recently implemented to speed up processing? I got a little scared because I thought it was scam

I want to mail unsolicited document to FO. will this help speedy the case?

@Maf S, no I didn't send anything, I had sent all evidence and needed paperwork when I filed, I believe it's just a template they use only to let you know that your case was turned over a local office, in this case San Bernardino.

BTW my PD was September 29

@Phil L congratulations on the ead! may i ask if you were on a h1b or l1 visa at the time of pd? i have a theory that they dont give ead to h1b guys and give direct green card. this probably helps uscis prioritize

I have just received it. It's super confusing. It violates the previous policy, like don't send anything unless RFE. Why do they ask me to send the I-693, while previously they send the notice to be ready to bring it on an interview or send it with RFE? I can send but I am not sure. They say it is NOT RFE. I hope the lawyer will suggest anything reasonable.

I think they just inform you about following steps.

I am wondering if I have to send the medical again? my laywer contacted USCIS and asked and they said to send them medical again with RFE.. but that doesn’t make sense..

Hi there! I'm from WA. As I was checking thru my spam folders today, I found the same Notice/Email like you guys received but it was dated back 04May'23. Was thinking about scheduling for another medical but was able to come across on this thread of discussions. I already submitted my I-485 application+ I-693medical last Feb. 2022 so for sure it's already expired. So assumption really is it's just an automated send-to-all-mail right? No action to perform and just wait for any official mail(or RFE if any) / changes in USCIS account right?
