@Amar Hadwan Thank you! Your date is so close to mine, I would think you should’ve gotten it. Double check your email. It doesn’t show that I have an interview on CEAC yet. Just the email they sent. If there’s nothing, then that likely means you’ll get your interview next month. I don’t know what happened at Djibouti but things slowed down a lot

@one love one love 1. No, CEAC did not. I got it via Email. CEAC still hasn’t updated to show my interview was scheduled 2. Both me and my wife got the email.

@Abu Bher I think they should give more appointments on 23/24 of this month. That’s when we will know what cases they are working on. Last month they still didn’t finish December cases. At this rate, you’ll probably get your appointment in another 2-3 months

@Naz 7 Salam brother! How was the interview? What kind of questions did they ask and do you have any tips?

@Ali B wa elaikom aslam brother. alhamdullialh it went great! you know the most important tip is be well prepared in terms of documents and more importantly be able to answer questions. but in my case I noticed that the last thing a consular officer saw was the documents, I mean their obviously required but I assure you the descion will be based on how you answer the questions, so it's important to answer questions truthfully. a few questions were asked, when did you get married and who filed your case. also it is very important to show proof of relationship such as photos of you and spouse. alhamdullial I wasn't given a yellow slip( 221 g) administrative processing. he took my passport and said to check status online. the interview lasted for 8 minutes for others five minutes. hope this helps let me know if you any other questions This is based on personal experience,

@aya . wa elaikom Al Salam. for the ds5535, you only need to fill it out if requested to do so, and my wife’s visa was issued two days after the interview. hence, if the consular officer keeps the passport after the interview, it means that the visa will be issued within a few days. hopefully he doesn’t get put under administrative processing, just be prepared and have photos of proof of relationship. good luck!
