USCIS should have sent the petitioner a I797c about a week after filing with your # on it.

do you have your receipt notice? it should be on it

@mary green I think you should rather look into why your attorney is acting funny and get it fixed. because they will likely send your card to his office.

@Petit John what card are you talking about? I’m still trying to find he got approved for his visa.

@J T I’ve went through everything they sent us…I’m back through it again now…the attorney office told us he case was approved with no approval letter but sent us an email of the next steps to take

you can try calling USCIS they will provide your receipt number

@Mr MCC big time…we’ve been paying these people and a small balance but to that they would go ghost on us for months if I didn’t email or call

@mary green not to scare you but I’m starting to worry if the attorney filed a case at all. I filed with an attorney but we both have online access to the petition and we both received notifications. Also, I can withdraw his access at any time if I want. You should have full access to everything and don’t need to go through the attorney.

@ I don’t think that’s possible. USCIS asks for the receipt number to confirm your case.

@J T your not scaring me but the atty file the case or my husband would gone for his 2nd interview on 6/24 since than we have heard nothing…we have everything except that receipt number but they’re acting stupid like they don’t kno what it is but yet they emailed USCIS lol…idk how I can report them…the funny thing they emailed me stating my husband got approved with no approval to be found so I’m asking them how do you know he was approved and when? they said they emailed the embassy so that mean there was no approval I’m so sad 😞

@J T I have not recd anything it seems they set up everything to be sent directly to them…that’s what I’m saying how r u emailing USCIS without that receipt number but won’t provide it to me

@mary green that is crazy!! Was there a welcome letter or interview invite your husband took to his first interview? or any documents he took or received after that interview?

@J T they sent us all of that I think that’s more of nvc tho bcus I have the case and inv# for nvc…I wouldn’t b able to register for this account if I didn’t…she is a packet of things he must take to the interview which we did go thru but it’s not til now that we’ve been waiting sooo long we needed that receipt number…who would have seen these problems occurring…called uscis s/w a rep they can help me w/o that receipt#
