realistically
guys i had a dream that i finally got my rfe for a medical and new hope for moving one step closer and so many people were liking my status on this app 😔but I don’t have any updates.
does it really take 13-15 months for i485 / i765?
part of me thinks that people who are getting approved within 3 months and posting it here are USCIS internal employees making us feel more hopeful although it’s unrealistic.

you don’t need a rfe for medical. You can send it without it

@um ch before Covid cases like ours were taking 4 months max for the decision but nowadays it’s anywhere between 11-20 months
my I-130 took 21 months from the filing day till the approval
my I-485 took almost 15 months .. but it won’t come if I didn’t push and push and push
I used to see the same dreams and I was seeing deportation order , immigration visits and a lot of more stupid shit
you only need to relax and be on the top of your cases from now on

@um ch it does take that long we are currently at 13 months and we just received RFE not for medical but other stuff

@Fernanda Becerra don’t send in any documents unless it’s requested. it can affect your case. you can submit everything together at time of filing but sending in medical when is not requested can make your case take longer

@Fernanda Becerra @Pepertua A yeah I asked my lawyer and she said not to do anything until we receive the rfe. i will continue waiting.
