Hello
Is it safe to apply for REAL ID in New Jersey just with EAD, SSN & Driver License?
Is a good an idea, is it better to have my green card and then apply for REAL ID ?

This is what I found:
1. U.S. citizens.
2. Non-U.S. citizens who have legal presence in the U.S.. This includes:
2.1. Lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders).
2.2. Individuals with temporary legal status, such as:
- DACA recipients (depending on state policies).
- TPS holders.
- Individuals with valid student (F-1) or employment visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc.).
- Asylees and refugees.

don’t they issue the real ID only to US citizens and permanent residents? Each state has different rules?
