all state law are different in pensylvania you can’t I don’t know in NY but here just can with work permit,social, birth certificate prima facie and much more,Even though I went with all that, they made me wait a month because they had to send an email to immigration

hi yes you need a approval for real ID. I live in Manhattan and tried to get real ID with my pending VAWA, C09 work permit and SSN but they said I need a approved case so I got regular ID. lol.
