@Good vibes For ever I understand your frustration but giving up won't really solve anything. You'll now have one more problem because life isn't easy. Idk which state you're in but there must be a job you can get with your EAD. Amazon, Walmart, FedEx, supermarket, restaurant chain etc. Not sure what your qualifications are but something is better than nothing. The race of life is for those who can endure or you'll get run over. Push harder and focus your energy on what you have or can do, not on what you don't have!

Gm I do feel like that too but I want you to know it is okay to cry,it is okay to express how you feel.you are not alone.Hold on a bit longer.How long have you been waiting if that is okay?

I filed VAWA 2018 and got denied in 2023. I refiled and still waiting and working with my EAD being renewed till date. imagine I had been waiting for this VAWA for the last 7 years and still hopeful that I won’t give up by any means. So don’t worry about this process and atleast look for any odd jobs using your ead until you find the right job. Theee are millions ways to survive here unlike other countries. All you need is the spirit, hope and willing. Never stop when you already started. There is a dawn at the end of this journey. Good luck

@Tom Hank’s Hans why did they deny you? isn’t there a rule that you cannot file Vawa if more than 2 years if divorce? so I assume you didnt divorce? just curious… thank you.

@bahi mansi Refile of VAWA is possible only when you are within 2 years from the date of divorce.

why are you willing to give up all you need in this country to make money is your ead and ssn, you think your green card will magically give you a job?

@j m I did ask but emergency is for specific date and event , and my circumstances with my mom is serious but on going and I need to be back and forward so officer said will expedite instead but since then no update. I understand your comment about the importance of ead and social However what works for the most is not necessarily what works for everyone, some we already had careers in our home countries that are continued and we need to stay longer than a month and also to give exams for specific licenses in USA ,they request your GC . I washt aware how long this process would me my lawyers said to me back in 21 that it would be 1-2 years but 4 years is terrible timeline for some individuals and especially if abusers are still after them , if it washt the psychological exaustion in all this situation and all the money i spend for the process and all the time lost and my love for this Country i would had quit the process for sure good Luck to all

@Good vibes For ever Your reason is the same for everybody having spent lot of money for this process and had endured all the strugglings and pain just because this country is the best when it comes to financial gain and future. @Ren Ren I did not had much documentation to file or proof except few affidavits and hence it took 4 years for them to let me wait and to deny, but I hired a best lawyer and attached whatsoever additional evidences to refile which helped me get prima facie for the first time followed by combo card. Feeling hopeful this time.
