I live in Fort Bend county in Texas, I went to our senator’s website and his political opinion’s on immigration was not what I was expecting… I ran🏃🏽‍♀️😂. yours might be different.

You can see if they have a local field office that you can ask first. I live in California and that is how I was directed to the immigration advocacy staff for my congressman's office. If they have a similar department or anyone who takes care of those things you may be in luck. And sadly your country of origin may also play a part, if the issue is political opinion.

I’m in the same boat, applied 07/28/22 and still no EAD. Requested expedite in October 2022, they received the documents in support of expedite, and told me in January 2023 that they would make a decision for expedite ‘shortly’. that was four months ago .. almost 10 months now with no EAD it’s absolutely ridiculous. I wrote to the ombudsman a few days ago .. hoping that helps.

@jan nie NBC, fo is Miami. they told me they electronically transferred my 485 to Miami back in February .. I hope that means I’m close to adjudication. it’s just impossible to live without being able to work! have you received an RFE for anything?

@jan nie Only an RFE for my long form birth certificate in January, responded 3 days later both online & by mail and nothing since :( Been waiting for an update for 4 months

@Ali Ortega they ghosted me after my response in August too lol. Hopefully you get an update soon! I also submitted a service request, to which they responded to just wait 🤷‍♀️

I’ve submitted so many service requests, and they always say the same! so frustrating. praying for movement on our cases soon!
