Re-apply after abandoning AOS?
I sadly had to abandon my family based Greencard application after my dad got sick in Europe and I had to return for a year. During that time, I received an RFE for the medical exam however I was not able to do it and therefore they denied my I-485 back in August.
Has anyone been in the same situation and was able to continue /appeal the application? We are looking to return to the USA now that my Dad is better. Perhaps apply via the consular way.

I wanted to abandoned the case but they told me that abandoning the case is not entering to USA for 10 years like being deported. so idk if you are gonna be able to come
