Question: Petitioning parents
What should I include in the filing application if I’m petitioning my parents - if I got married so I have a name change. And they live abroad. And do you know how much? Thanks!

@Ja R I started my petition for my parents in April 2022. I got married in December 2022. I did change my name however I have not updated my documents as yet because I feared it would interfere with the process. In May 2023 my petition got approved and by June I sent all the required documents to NVC. They asked for my marriage certificate which has my new surname but the other documents has my last name given at birth. They accepted all the documents so now I’m just waiting for an interview.
