Question on Tax Transcripts
Hello guys I'm currently waiting on my wife's tax transcript cuz she filed late and whoever did her taxes is out of the country so we can't get the form 1040, I have most recent paystubs and w2s for 2023, my question is has anyone been able to get green card approval without the tax transcript?

No, you won't. All you need is the last year of her filing (2023). Even if she filed her taxes late, I presume the tax preparer should have a copy of the 1040 (2023) that you still should be able to uplaod along the W2 with a note explaining that the official transcripts from the IRS is not available yet.

no, 1040 form is what you fill out before sending it to IRS. Just fill out the form 1040 and attach W2 or 1099 and you can apply for the green card

she can get the transcript online. just log unto irs website with her information. easy to create an account if she does not have one. Click on transcripts and choose the year you want.
