hello guys! my PD is June 06, 2024. It's only been 7 Months since that day, I got my EAD already after 37 days and just waiting for my AOS Decision. Last month, the estimated time was 5months and turned to 16 months, I know it's not accurate and could be sooner than that, just want to ask if it's still fine to apply for AP since I didn't apply for that concurrently. I want to try my luck cause idk how much more it will take for the decision to be made, I really want to see my family nextyear, l've been so homesicked already. I am going home with my husband also.
Has anybody experienced applying AP after concurrently filing?

Continue to wait it out. yes you can file the AP but since it’s been 7 month requesting the AP now. your I-485 approval may come before that and it would waste money at that point you wouldn’t need the AP.

I agree with @Bella J I’ve seen AOS been approved long before AP, or worse you get the AP approved and leaves and AOS gets denied while you’re out the country.
