@Houda Maaliki No, the welcome letter for K-1’s take 15-90 days. If a person received the welcome letter right after their approval letter, it’s for the I-130..

@Jessica V i know but i just saw a post on someone who’s also a fiance visa! he literally recieved his welcome letter 4 days after his approval.. i guess some people are just lucky

@Houda Maaliki I was approved March 15th 2023 and it's been 90 days no welcome letter but I did email them and by the 8th email they said it was sent to embassy on June 6th 2023 they gave me case number but still no letter! I don't know if I can fill out ds 160 without letter ... I will wait to see if I get further instructions along with letter this week! I have no idea if I have to wait because everywhere I read it says must wait for welcome letter with further instructions to see of case is ready to apply for ds 160....k1 visa mexico.....90 days plus! Only I 130 etc...takes days to get letter! K1 doesn't and it also depends on country and embassy from what I have been told

Case approved on April 6th still waiting from nvc. Sent few inquiries. After 60 days, NvC sends inquiry to uscis
