I got this email when they sent me an RFIE in April. It took 6 days to show up in my document section. Keep checking your document section though because it may be available later today or tomorrow.

agree with above. mine took 5 days. I hate how they do that and don’t post the notice immediately. @L R

@L R RFIE are request for initial evidence which is usually medical, a birth certificate or afdadavit of support. they received mine in October last year and no update. it went to NBc though so not the same as if you get it from the field office which could approve it once they received the evidence. the answer is it depends. a week or a year or two. no way to know. best of luck

@L R it should be posted online in 5-7 days. if it’s to a field office you’re probably close to a decision. if it’s NBC it could be… forever 🤷🏻‍♀️

@A bless girl I recieved same thing on May 28 and all I see on my cases is just the second active review on the i485 and active review on I-130 … I’m just wondering when I’d see a document or another update

@w s @Titan A @Patiently Waiting @A bless girl Update: I contact one live agent at “Ask Emma” and he told me that “No updates.” And I was so fine, not rude and he told me only that. Unfortunally.. 😔

@L R - I’m sorry, I know how stressful it is to know you have something coming but just not sure what. I think you’ll need to wait for the notice to get uploaded unfortunately. If you haven’t done your medical, I’d get it done ASAP because it takes time to complete.
