Can USCIS deny a case after the interview or do they have to issue a NOID, RFE or second interview first? And is it safe to travel with advance parole after interview?

Yes they can. If you are interviewing that because they have everything they need from you but aren't satisfied with your case, which draws an interview.

I wouldn’t suggest traveling while the decision on your case is tentative.
