QUESTION 🤔
Do y'all think it's a good idea to upload my personal copy of medicals. Even though it hasn't been requested yet?
Just wondering if it would do any good🙄

You should ONLY be submitting your medical in a sealed envelope either with your initial packet or when requested through an RFE.

kim B is correct. the envelope should be sealed and only Uscis will upload on your account once they receive it. you can send your medical along with your papers when you filed it. Now you need to wait until Uscis ask you to submit

I uploaded my copy to my USCIS account. Either way, USCIS is still going to request that you submit the sealed original document to them by mail.

@Sept 16, 2022 . That's my thoughts exactly. I have my sealed envelope and not intending on opening it. Just thinking that maybe if I uploaded my personal copy it would trigger the request 🤔

@teetee fabulous someone just said he uploaded his copy, a photograph of the sealed envelope & the US postal receipt & it was updated before the end of the day.

@JENNIE . That sounds clever. My only fear is that it wasn't requested yet so I didn't want to send the sealed envelope. Since lawyers are always advising not to send unless requested😰

@teetee fabulous check “gcinfo.org” and learn how to interfile your medical without RFE. I did send mine without RFE and got approved in 10days. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CALL TO GET EXACT LOCATION OF YOUR FILE. I used fedex overnight.

@teetee fabulous I don't believe it'll trigger a request unfortunately because I uploaded my medical since March 2023 and still nothing 😄. I only uploaded it for my peace of mind tbh, I know it wouldn't make a difference. @Pepertua A my FO average processing time is 32.5 months so I have a prolonged wait anyway 😅 jk.

@teetee fabulous I used them for my interfile cover letter with barcodes, include your sealed medical, i485 receipt , id and the cover letter. good luck 🍀
