hi, friends. I would like to know if anyone who applied for WAVA has ever made a FOIA request. My process has been ongoing for 917 days, and I have not received any response from immigration to date.

My attorney did everything for me. She did a FOIA request and that basically took 6 months adding the covid backlog. I am going for my green card interview on Tuesday.

In most cases FOIA is not helping. Best way is to file proper Intent to Sue letter with Mandamus, or just sue USCIS. You can sue USCIS for a delayed case on your own, if you cannot afford an attorney, my friend did it for his delayed case, and got papers within 45 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it, and to get some help "writ of mandamus pro se"
