@harry harry tell me about it, my lawyer said last week that he does not think it would be worthy transferring my case to another type of visa (marriage) he said that with the “borders closed” it is easier now, I am so tired, my priority date is may 2022… he said that “waiting is financially better than changing” idk honestly I don’t think he took me and my soon to be husband seriously 😒 I think he thought we were poor/broke or something… smh and I feel in the limbo bc I don’t know what to do, process is so tiring and expensive, but at the same time I can’t wait to travel outside of the country with my partner lol

@g f i think u should be fine with 2022 priority date people after 2022 will have to wait much longer in 2023 50k petitions were approved in 2024 70k idk the number of 2025 they can only allocate 9k visas each year people who did in 2025 are already behind 12-13 years i think
