Processing times
So I'm just curious, how is the processing times determined, by your paid date or the actively reviewing date ?
Sitting around and waiting for things to happen makes you overthink.. and think.. and think.. ๐ค๐ง. lol

i donโt think USCIS reviews cases in any particular order, but the โAIโ assumes that they do. its supposed to be based on the time between your priority date and the average processing time for your category. except they will randomly approve someone in 2 months and a person with an equal or similar case in 16 months.
that tab is to be ignored except to see movement sometimes it means your case has moved to a new pile.
best of luck to you @Marcus Boeckel

PD date is the date that they have your file, thatโs showing on your receipt notice also, and actually they do not actively reviewing cases, they only spend maximum one hour on a case.

if you are US Citizen and if you are submitted on 2nd July 2023, you should be good to go before the end of August of 2024.

Thank you all. Yeah, I figured they were not spending a lot of time on our case, have not done anything in 304 days now. I realize they are short-handed too , good thing is, I am a USC ( I think .. lol Sometimes it doesn't feel like it matters much but still keeping hope ) Definitely nice being able to chat with others and get support and questions answered.
