Processing time for Receipt Notice
So, My first application for I-485 was rejected due to missing one question answer. The first was send on Oct29 which was rejected on Feb1
So my lawyer send again the new form and my New I-20 with cover letter but everything else documents were same on Feb 19
So my question is How longer will I have to wait to get receipt notice for my refiling?Will I have to wait(3 months again) only after January applicants are issued receipts?
Or Will be it faster with the rejection cover letter?

hopefully faster, once they catch up from last year's filing and if COVID protocols get better..

lockbox are facing huge delays and if you sent it to texas, that’s taking the most time, almost 2 months!

if i send again with cover letter of rejected notice, will they process it faster?

I am not sure! but your PD will be the date they receive the file so it dont matter even you get your receipt 1-2 month later!

I didn’t sent back my rejection letter I was told not to i track my documents from feb 18 it’s still saying in transit is next day I paid for an stress wondering if ups lost it all my money order in it
