Priority Date 16 September 2021 Rest of the World
I485 application was filed in January 2023 My priority date is 16 September 2021, interview was completed in May 2025, submitted updated medical form at the time of interview, I485J was approved after the interview. Priority date was not current so green card was not issued. Since March 1st 2026 final action date is current but I have not seen any progress.
Do you have an idea when Green card will be issued?

Interview was good 👍 admissibilty questions. work history, it was straight forward. At the time of interview final action date was mot current so green card was not issued

I have received I485J approval right after the inevitable in May 2025, since then there is no movement status is same is Case Remains Pending

I did not bring lawyer with me he was asking for a lot of money. Thanks God I didn't waste my money as the interview was straight forward

My case is being handled by the Brooklyn Field Office. My PD is 10/21 . I had my interview in 11/ 2024, after that asked to submit Supplement J and my medical exam. My I-485J was approved in January 2025.
Since then, my CRP. My priority date became current on March 1, I have been waiting since then. I also submitted a service request about a month ago, but there have been no updates so far. 🤞good luck everyone, hope our greens comeing soon 👀🙏

Being current means USCIS can approve if everything else is ready, but it does not force immediate approval. USCIS still needs visa allocation, background checks, final officer review, and a complete file. Since your I-485J was approved and medical was submitted, I would submit a service request if the case is outside normal processing and mention that the final action date is current. A congressional or Ombudsman inquiry can also help if it remains stuck.

after the recent update on 28th April, 2026 by the USCIS that they are implementing FBI enhanced security background check. My cases is already pending for several years. What do you think how much more time and delay will be added to the cases like mine
