Prime Facie & Travel Documents
Hi Family, is the anyone went /go to College with SAFSA/Goverment Assistance through Prime Facie in Florida? Please anyone share information specifically Florida because I know states are different 🙏
Another question, do anyone know how long it takes for travel permits to be approved, I applied October 2023 but until now it still says Received, not even fingerprints update , since in November they send the receipt notification and says will use my VaWA fingerprints 🥲.

@Gina Miller I applied Dec 2023 I got my AP after 8 months. Prima facie 6 months. Did u get ur EAD yet? I'm still waiting on my EAD.

@Gina Miller Gingina! I filed in Sept VAWA package and they resumed my earlier finger prints and issue me the prima facia in February 2024. They issued combo card which is EAD and travel document in May 2024. For me it took almost 8 to 9 months .

every state is different try any cuny college. and see..good luck. and see if there are any free nursing courses u can do until u get approved

PLEASE LISTEN TO ME, I live and go to school in Florida. If you have a PF and SSN for work authorization, you qualify for federal financial aid FAFSA, you can complete a FAFSA form as long as your PF is valid at the time of completion of set FAFSA form and at the time of the aid disbursement you get aid. valid PF + SSN = federal aid and benefits like food stamps even, if you don’t make enough.

@Lo kk I tried getting food stamps etc..They denied me stating I have to be greened (green card) for 2 years.
