@alise e you dnt have to wait until vawa is approve to retain a new attorney. I changed mine in April too bcuz my attorney stop taking my calls after I paid her to renew my work permit before it expired in May. Two week before it expired my new attorney took over my case. That's when my old attorney be sending me email how am making a big mistake. I didn't even reply to her email. If it wasn't for the new attorney I would be out of a job and wouldn't get the extension for work permit.

@alise e hello dear, a prima facie cannot be renewed, there’s nothing you can do about it, you just have to wait until another is sent to you nothing more to do about that. And sometimes most people stop getting the prima facie, it doesn’t mean your i360 application wouldn’t be approved, people even get approved without receiving a single prima facie, let your heart be at peace.

@alise e your attorney must work on your case because you paid him for it unless there is something on your side you didn’t tell him before. You can request to refund portion of your money

@love the new attorney I talked to he said I needed to wait until my I -360 was approved in order for him to work on my case, he said I had to tell her to send request action for a prima facie

@God’s Child thank you , I’m just so scare I’m missing something and things are going so slow for me . and my attorney has been so negligent about everything I’m scare she mess something up

@survivor my attorney said she doesn’t have to refun me anything bc she already work the hours on my case , she said she spent want to be my attorney because she’s to busy with other cases , she also doesn’t answer my text or call and doesn’t want to send me over my contract or any information
