yes it’s possible , they send the renwal to you automatically and sometimes you have to make a request for an PF extention if you need it and they will grant that for you.

you just write a letter to Vermont center has your name & receipt number requesting extention to your expired PF. attach a copy of your expired PF determination letter with it. and they will respond to you within one or two months. I did it myself.

thank you so much. I will do this tomorrow. it only expired on May 24th. do you think it’s too early to send them a letter? I just need it so I can show my school and I can continue getting financial aid for next quarter

go ahead and send them, you’re allowed to send the request within the 60 days before the expiration date. I used mine for financial aid too.. good luck !!

you should get another soon. mine expired 30th April and got an extension May 15th, that’s just about 2weeks after expiration.

@F A I am just a bit nervous waiting and it does not come but hopefully it will be here in 2 weeks. I will still send the letter today just in case
