your family includes you your children your spouse and anyone who you declare as dependent in your tax documents or any other government documents. your income + your co-sponsor income should be enough to cover for your whole family. secondly if your co-sponsor has his own family like he/she is married then in that case co-sponsor’s family will be included and income of both of you should be enough to cover everyone as per poverty guidelines.
