i765 is not available in USCIS for premium processing, no matter what they say in your link online

i mean you can find it online but uscis doesn’t have or want to give this option for EAD processing right now because of a huge backlog. They need to prioritize old cases asap

In Oct 2021 Congress passed legislation allowing UCSIS to introduce premium processing for the I-765. In June 2021, USCIS announced that they are targeting Sept 2021 for implementation of that policy. The timeline has clearly slipped though and they need to work through their backlog before they can implement it. My guess is that it’ll happen some day but, not until they clear this backlog.

they will never clear the backlog with the current processing speed

yes, there is a premium processing option, and it is the I-907 form indeed. but only employers can file that for employees. e.g, employers sponsoring employees.
YS HighergroundNov 23, 2021
ok. Can anyone with approved I140 from EB2 NIW also apply for a premium processing for their i765
I WNov 23, 2021
As far as I understood, this refers to those who already have been waiting for at least 2 years on their case. So that would mean uscis would still be clearing the backlog by accepting the fee and processing the case faster. Correct me if I’m wrong.

there isn’t a premium processing option for the form I-765 (ead) at all. As someone said, they were planning on making it happen after Sept 2021, but they didn’t.

YS - only your employer can apply for the premium processing if they deem necessary. it is not for I-765 but i-129 and/or I-140. you just said that your I-140 was approved. so, there's nothing you can do as everything in your case is done by your employer. they have filed for the I-765 as well and the only way to expedite that is the expedite request. you can't do anything about that either. only your employer can submit one for you if they deem necessary. as painful as it is, you just have to wait.
