Premium Processing
Hey guys, do you think paying for premium processing for EB 1 A worth it?

my attorney advised not to. I just got approval after 8 months. IMO if you have a strong case you can go for premium processing.

you are eligible to change job after 180 days of having you i140 approved and have EAD. the PP could save you. also if you get II40 approved and you are current and lucky you can get approved pretty soon if your case moves in the right direction. My lawyer advised to not to but I did pay it. for me it was just a waste of money and probably slowed my case but I would pay for it again.

@K S, in order words, you are saying that if someone doesn't have a strong case, the person shouldn't pay for premium? What does "strong case" even mean?

if you are from India or China and you dont have past priority date, not worth it, unless you dont have any issues with money and have strong credentiaks for 1A. if you are from ROW or have pas priority date (India or China), do it so that you get to know in 15 days rather than 1 year (no exact timeline) and file adjustment 485 quickly. @E E

I would recommend premium if you are from backlogged countries and have an earlier date to port. even if you dont, it is still a good idea since eb1 moves faster than other categories.

@Rijo Rijo strong case as per my attorney is if you have more than 3-4 of the criteria satisfied for EB1A.
