she wanted to renew her EAD through her lawyer, I helped her to filling out the paperwork without her lawyer, it was sent and she got approved in 3days.

@P N did you have to pay to get your EAD renewed?

@Omar X no I have a pending i485 so it’s free to renewal

@P N I’ll be damned, this this 2nd time I’ve heard this. My lawyer told me that’s it’s gonna cost $410 to file and another $410 for his fee 🤦🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

file it on your own you don’t need a lawyer. @Omar X I sent it with my credit card information and they refused it and proceeded to send me a receipt number you don’t need to pay

@P N you filed for a renewal not a first application for EAD, right ? And They didn’t take the $410 fee from your credit card? interesting. this is the first to hear that.

@Omar X you file the same way you did initially for the i765 search the address of where to send it to renew for your field office now is a great time to submit it you’re going to have to send all the required documents go to uscis.com and type renewal i765 you’ll have a complete list. good luck

@R Paul yup did not charge me at all renewal with i485 pending is free
