Thank you for your prompt reply. A little background about my Situation. I’m experiencing some medical issues and USCIS denied my expedite request. my work allows me work from home option and I am planning to work remotely all this time and at the same time my spouse could take care of me. My doctor suggested it will be good for my health

I am not sure why it should be a problem leaving US for two months every year. She got a job, rent/own a house, have US bank account with paystubs, work for US based company. Which parts of the residency has been violated? On the N-400 only ask you if you left the country more than 6 months. Some people been living in US with 10 years green card and have renewed for multiple times. Am I missing something here?

I’m a green card holder I travelled twice a year and spend 3-4 months in total and no one ever asked me when entering or leaving. the law is plain you are okay if you haven’t exceeded the 180 days allowed period. so you should be ok
