After two weeks, they scheduled my interview and the status changed to " interview was scheduled"

the message could mean you are through to the next level. someone I know got same message but he did not have to go for an interview and he has been approved already. I wish you all the best

I'm not done with the interview, still waiting for the letter to arrive in mail.

Thanks @Sara ... . if I understood correctly, it took them 15 days to schedule interview. You have not received any appointment letter yet. so, you dont know how far out they have given you the interview date. Did i get that right? Additionally, i am curious to know following - 1. Are you employment based green card petitioner? 2. Are you based out in Philly?

@abi 38 - Thanks for your response. Have you already taken your interview? Could you please share few more details like where are you taking interview, how far out they gave tour interview date from the day you recevied interview letter, your interview experience etc.

my date is three weeks after I received our letter. it’s at Dallas office. NO its on end of June once I am done I will post for help.

my case was also updated to interview scheduled last week, interview in July 3rd week. EB1C India, case was filed 16 months back. pls post your interview experience once done

@abi 38 - How did your interview go?

@PR S - How are you preparing for employement based GC interview? There is not ton of interview refrences for employment based interviews.

@Sara ... - Whats latest on your side? i am curious to know how are you prepring for employment based green card interview? There is lot of content available online for mattiage based GC interviews, but not for emplyment based.

@Jay D what I heard is to be ready to answer all questions on the forms once again and have all the documents submitted with the application.

@Sara ... - You meant i485 form and all supporting documents submitted with it, right? I had taken medical 19 months ago. I guess that I have to take new medical exam right?

@Jay D for the medical, I'll only take the copy of the original that I submitted 9 months ago. They are valid for two years. so no need to renew.

@Jay D it went well. we were not approved at the end though. let’s hope for the best. keep praying.

@Jay D basic question about employment no question were ask to wife and children. but we have received rfe after interview for my son birth certificate which has incomplete mother’s name ( my wife name)

there is a great telegram channel for interview.

I'm done with the interview. just the questions from the forms. The documents she asked: EAD, AP cards, current and old passports containing visas, recent paystub. My case status changed to "interview completed " and then "Case remains pending " as my category is not current anymore.
