Petition for Parents
I applied to petition for my parents, but their applications were sent to different states—one went to Texas and the other to Vermont. The filing dates are only two days apart, but the processing times shown are quite different: one says it will take about 8 months for a decision, and the other says 3 months. Since I’m the petitioner for both, is there a chance they could be approved at the same time? Also, for those who’ve recently filed and received approval, how can I estimate when I can expect an approval? thank you!!

Is two different cases, is imposible or not way for approval at same time. Is no way to estimate times. Uscis page give 8mojyhs to 2 years or more for approvals. Is don’t matter you are the petitioner for your parents is two cases.

with time each case will shrink in time or not depending if they are required extra documentation… we started that way and then the timing reduce me (so far)

I’m same boat at you then I’m also applying for my Parents overseas !! I believe they’re working on the second week of October 2023 !! You mind me asking me what your current status right now because mine is case recived and we sent recpient notice I haven’t got Activiely reviewed part yet and My PD is April 23 2024 @a taylr

mine is two cases two my mom and stepfather. my mom own just got approved but my stepdad own said I need more documents for proof and the same thing happened. one said 2 months one said 8mnths.
