Pause on final decisions
Any one have any info from their lawyers on how this usually goes for banned countries? I am applying to remove conditions soon. I guess I won’t get a final decision any time soon? The information given is that the cases will be processed as usual, but will not get a final decision at this time. The receipt notice apparently extends the current 2 year card by 48 months.

that means you can still travel but if you on the list of banned countries I would think you need to talk to your lawyer

@M L Yea that’s correct. Just use your extension letter. it’s annoying but sadly, nothing you can do until a judge shoots down that order.

@Rocco Forté Thanks for answering. I heard it takes almost 2 years for a decision normally anyway. is that right?

@M L Yea it takes 2 to 3 years to get an I-751 approved. My advice is to just live your life till you hear from them.
