I applied April 4, 2022, I sent them an inquiry through my congresswoman and USCIS responded with "The case has not been assigned to an officer yet." Good luck.

I’m also 04.22.22. I reached out to my lawyer and he said that he apparently can only submit a service request once the case reaches the current processing time. So I decided to wait and see what happens for the next 4 weeks

realistically it would work better if u could do it around April-June. because they say 46 Months but what this really means add 3 more months. at month of 49-50 u can contact ur congressman or ombudsman. there are plenty of people from end of 2021 and January-March 2022 with no decision.

January 2021 did inquiry answer was background check

Feb 2022. the soonest I can submit a service request is May 2026. I reached out to Congressman last month and response was that they are still working on it.

I’m April 4 2022 my congressman checked for me in November they replied back that’s it’s within processing time and to check back in December, this was when it was 45months now it’s 46months my congressman reached out to let me know they have submitted another request Jan 4 but haven’t heard back from them yet

I filed Jan 2022, I responded to ref in sep 2025, I’ve been waiting 134 days now, that’s 48 months since filed, say they are still working on my case, M K you can try the inquiry thou caz every case is different

Although next month is going to be 46 months for your case, you can only submit an inquiry on July 1, 2026. Make sure you click on “Get Inquiry Date,” which is based on your receipt date.

@Maria Kaprin they just responded now with a long list of why it’s pending. my country is partially banned. I’m gonna post it on lawfully now the whole response
