1 Day to max 45 Days. I hope you'll hear from them soon. However, you have to wait for your Local Embassy to send NVC that they are ready to process your case after your DQ. That might take another 6 - 12 Months.

Has your petitioner received the notice from NVC? Do a public inquiry to NVC and ask for your case number and invoice number

yeah it took 5 years and 6 months before it get approved and we had a lawyer

@Peggy C the day we filed the case was on April 26, 2018. and they sent it to Asylum vetting center on February 17, 2022 and they approved it on October 26, 2023. then they sent to NVC. now we are waiting

@yaf Efrem did you received an update at NVC? May I know is beneficiary in the US or overseas?

@Peggy C does your case also in Asylum Vetting my lawyer tol us our case transfer to GA but its not showing on USCIS web only its show "fees are waived" after we submit back on 2021 did you recvd an update on your case?

@yaf Efrem our i-730was also approved on the 26 October 2023 and send to the NVC on the 30th October.We did an inquiry to NVC and was told our case had been send to our embassy since November 7 2023

uptil now it is showing ready on the CEAC website but no email from the embassy.

@Pella Ricardo may be yeah, they sent me our case number now and they said they forwarded it to our embassy on April 10th, but the case tracker shows our case is in transit

@Pella Ricardo hey pella it is saying that u r ready for the interview, u need to schedule one, and ready all your documents

they have website and that can be found on the welcome letter and u can schedule it by urself, it ia pretty easy, just follow the instructions

@yaf Efrem even though it says "Ready",the site still says that I can't schedule my interview unless the embassy contacts me. That is why am still waiting.

If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment.

Basically after your case is Ready,one receives an email from the embassy and also a link on how to schedule the interview

@Pella Ricardo yeah that's the message they send when u have to schedule it by urself, they may send u an email but in most cases they don't. I have a cousin who had the same case as we have and she scheduled the interview by herself and they called her after to prepare her documents

but u should email the US embassy in your country about ur case, they will tell u what to do. don't just wait till they sent u the link

hello all please I have a question to ask about the NVC stage. I have already gotten my approved i730 this month 4th and waiting for notice from NVC or welcome letter from them. what exactly would the NVC be doing, would I also upload documents on the ceac website before I get contacted by the embassy? also what kind of visa would I be given too?
