Thanks @S A ! I did just that while I was at the bank, but they refused this version as it shows I’m out of status. This is expected, as I changed my status in the US after I got married. I have since received my EAD and SSN, but the bank wants a current I-94. Do you know anything about this?

respectfully the bank is chatting shit, which states is this. some places you don’t even need SSN an ITIN will do. You need to get in contact with the head office or call the credit reconsideration hotline, for that specific bank.

Thanks @S A , yeah I also thought it was strange. I’m in Minnesota. They seem to think I can get a new/updated I-94. But you’re right, I’ve heard of many banks that require minimal documentation so I might try with one of them. Thanks!

@Denise K I don’t know what’s going on with my case status on my USCIS account. I have received medical RFE from Boston office, but there is no update on my case status. I sent out my medical to Boston Office and waiting on their acknowledgment…..but no update. This is making me anxious because I don’t know if my mail got to the right place. Yes I have tracking and delivery signature, but that’s not enough proof for me. I want my case status to be updated.

@Faithful God yes I saw your posts. You know it can take a while for USCIS to update statuses, I bet this will happen for you any day now. But yes, I’d feel the same - tracking and delivery signatures aren’t enough! I think it took about 3 weeks for my status to be updated when I first submitted, tho I’d received the delivery receipt very soon after. You’re on the home stretch💪🏻

@Denise K My case status didn’t even update for receding this medical RFE. So not sure what’s going on with my case status. I used to get update when my application was at National Benefit Center. However, since my application was transferred to Boston Office….nothing. I didn’t even know my case was transferred and was getting medical RFE tilll I received my actual letter from Boston.

@S A wanted to let you know my lawyer confirmed there is no updated I-94 (as we all suspected). Unfortunately the bank refuses to accept this, so I will bank with another bank as all have suggested.

@Denise K Not yet unfortunately. It will be 2 weeks since it was delivered and apparently USCIS is having issues with updating account including mine. I need to call them sometime next week to find out. Thank you for thinking of me and my situation.

Keep us updated @Faithful God . We give each other strength by sharing our experiences, even if we can’t really do anything for one another. For me, simply knowing I am not alone in this trying process has been a great comfort.

@Denise K We all can use extra prayers that we will see the end of our tunnels soon. This process has been difficult for me since I am a widow to US citizen.
