which field office? an officer reviewed my case on July 23rd, and I’d give them the 60 days window to adjudicate the case before i take any action or worry about my case

Even though I live in California (I checked about 5 weeks ago, and my case was at the Sacramento Field Office), my case has now been transferred to the Queens Field Office in New York.

@Syriana Asylee Why 60 days? And what exactly is the “next action” you’re planning to take if there’s no update in 60 days ?

@s saini I just asked about the status of my case, the agent gave me the status and the last time the officer reviewed it

@ASMYRO Bal I would escalate to a tier two office and ask for a call back to explain the status of my application. Only tier 2 officers have access to the internal status updates.

my case is at San Bernardino and I learned that they have a cycle of 60 days to close the case once it’s opened by an officer to issue a decision if no RFE requested or missing anything.

@Syriana Asylee that makes sense, thanks! do we have the option to escalate to Tier 2 officers? I called USCIS 4 months ago and the agent put a request. They said someone will contact you in 30 days but none called me since then.
