NVc welcome email
Hi, I am a US citizen petitioning for my spouse in Nepal. Approved on July 26,2022 and case was sent to Department of State on July 29,2022. I had mailed my i-130 and approval came from Texas service center.
After 3 weeks, I still havent received welcome email with case number and invoice no. I am a USC filing for spouse so there is no quota on visas issued. I checked with USCIS multiple times after approval and everytime they said my i-130 was approved, sent to NVC and case is closed there.
Is anybody facing delay in getting welcome email after approval for CR1 case? When can I expect it?

Hi,
I got I-140 approval on 15th July and it was mentioned in the notice that the case has been sent to NVC.
I sent inquiry to NVC and also called USCIS. The USCIS agent told me they sent my petition to NVC. On the following day, I have received a response from NVC that they didn’t received my petition from USICIS and advised me that if I will not get my welcome letter until 60 days then I have to remind NVC to follow-up with USCIS.
After NVC response, I called again USCIS then the agent told me that they not send my petition to NVC and have to wait until 90 days, if no response then I have to follow-up with them.
Don’t know, whats going on.
Waiting is the only solution

Letter we got from USCIS said to wait 45 days for the letter before contacting the NVC maybe its in the mail

yep. My approval letter says the same. But I’m nervous! were you approved recently? Did you get welcome letter/email yet? Nothing in my mail

yes try the nvcreseach@state.gov and in a couple of days you will receive an answer. mine is 129f and they said they received my petition but did not send me what I need to apply for the visa. idk why?
