If the Ceac says "ready," you are ready for the interview, you can now create your case. The same thing happened to me and I wrote to the NVC.

so before your case said “ready” it gave you “no information to retrieve”? because at first it was giving me in transit and now says “your search did not return any info”. also in a run around with NVC and embassy because embassy saying it’s at nvc still and nvc is saying it’s been forwarded since two months ago lol. but to be fair embasssy email seems very automated
