I’d think so. you will also have to get the nvc receipt number, pay fees and submit the documents — and then expedite.

you have to wait for The NVC welcome letter after you pay the fee and send all documents

@musi an - I requested an expedite on February 8 (humanitarian reason) first expedite denied. then I requested again and attached supporting documents

no I have not yet. i’m in I130 stage Texas sc and my pd is sept 10 2021, i sent I129F 10 days ago. i’m doing Cr1 spousal visa

what was your request for it you don't mind sharing? I'm trying to get my expedite through for humanitarian reasons but based off of my health (disease and other things that came from the disease and are now getting worse with the stress from not having the only person that supports me and basically the only person i call family close to me) i need my hubby 😭😭

@Erik - I sent an expedite request to NVC and the NVC forwarded my case to the US embassy in Abu Dhabi. Unfortunately, Abu Dhabi denied my request. Probably because I havent submitted yet the documents in NVC. After I filed the fees, I will try to request again.

did you request expedite at uscis stage too ? did they approve the request or just approve the I-130 and denied the expedite? what was the reason please thank you
