NVC
So I haven’t submitted my documents to the NVC as yet and the year is coming to an end. Will I be required to get new Tax Papers and so on if the year ends?

Tax season opens in the end of January
But I doubt they can make you submit docs before the tax filing deadline. It’s usually on 15th or April but it’s probably will be extended again because of Covid🤷🏼♀️

If you can file taxes early and submit them, I think it would be great. It can give an impression that you respect their laws and don’t take your time. I know my accountant only files company taxes in the beginning of the season so I need to wait for appointment to be able to file my individual taxes. But if my lawyer told me it’s important to file asap, I’ll do my best to make it happen. So while it’s probably not required to file taxes early, it might help your case. You never know

@Sophie May M. if we submit the documents first week of april in 2022 is it required 2021 transcript or is it ok if we submit 2018,2019 nd 2020 transcripts ??
