I received my I-130 approval Sept 8. Received the NVC welcome letter Sept. 19 and Submitted the DS-260 form and required documents on Sept. 26th. Waiting on NCV approval to schedule my interview in Bogotá Colombia. My attorney advised me that it may take 4-6 weeks for NVC to review my case.

@Alex Vargas It may take only 15 days to review the documents. And then one month to send you the letter of interview.

What country are you in? I was DQ’d a few days ago, I’m in Peru… I’m wondering how long until I get my interview date!

@Rossana Gamarra Ecuador, I received the letter of the interview on Sep 26 and that appointment will be this week.

@psp _ To be honest it was very smooth. the interview was fast like 5 minutes long. The agent only asked ¿who is your petitioner? how did you meet your wife? how long have you been together? how many times does your wife travel to see you? do you have any criminal record? They approved the visa and the visa has been printed.
