yes about 2-3 months to schedule the interview and when you get the letter your interview should be for 2 months later. my husbands in the DR too and I’m in a group that keeps up with all this stuff and that’s what’s been happening. I’m still waiting on my petition to be approved but hoping I get it this month since I’ve already been waiting 340 days

I’m still waiting on my petition to be approved. my pd is 08/31/21 at California service center. hoping to get my approval this week. but I know people who became DQ’d like May 11th that just got their interview letter last week. when were you DQ’d?

it took me about 83 days to get DQ after I submitted everything

i got DQ June 6, I’m wondering how long i will have to wait for the interview. I’m a US citizen petitioning for my mother in the DR.

about 75 days for me too. make sure all of your submitted documents are perfect otherwise they’ll reject it and you’ll need to wait AN ADDITIONAL 75 days … happened to me, missed a page of a document and unfortunately extended our time by almost 3 months because of my mistake 😔

I think you’ll probably hear by end October for an interview mid Dec or something. My husband and I are a month behind you so we’re looking at about January I think

Of course. it’s about 90 days afterwards that NVC sends the case to the embassy and then it’s about 6 weeks after that date (and:/or 6 weeks after you receive the letter) when they will give you an actual interview date at all. So June DQ won’t hear until about end Sept/early to mid Oct and then can expect to be interviewed by Nov, maybe even Dec. It’s all rough estimates so give it anywhere from a 4-6 week rough estimate. At least it isn’t on the order of decades for citizens like it is for residents (very unfortunately)

I just got DQ on Oct 19♥️ but you should hear something around 3.5 months of being DQ from what I have seen

i think i’d have to bring my documents with me just in case they give me an interview while i am over there since I’ll be gone from Nov until Jan

oh yea I would bring them just in case then. I am going in Nov as well but only for 2 weeks 🥰🥰 I am thinking I will get my interview letter about mid January or so

@Brianna H if you got DQ in Aug I would imagine your interview should be sometime in January so that would be a good idea like you said to take everything you will need just to be on the safe side

@Brianna H I will tell you the group that I am in everyone gets their interview letter at the latest 3 months and one week after they’re DQ. but for the most part it is 3 months after being DQ. so I’m expecting mine around January 19 or so. yours should be next week girl🙏🏻

passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate,divorcedecree if any, 2 photo passport, ds260 receipt, but I'm bringing pictures we have together w2 pay stubs transfer money receipt, I'm bringing everything lol in case they ask me

I have heard you need to do a fingerprint before the interview can someone give some info about it

@S A you can also get all your vaccines done including the COVID at the medical exam. Im not sure exactly how much it will cost. I’m thinking maybe at the most $450

yes you can but remember you can't get 2 doses covid vaccine the same day one month for each dose
