NVC administrative processing before interview
Hi All,
I made an expedite request to NVC for visa interview and i received this message, please what does it mean?
“The correspondence submitted is currently under review. An appropriate action will be taken once this review is completed.
This petition is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. You will be notified with further instructions when the processing is complete.“
Why is my petition undergoing administrative processing with NVC before interview?
Does anyone have a similar experience?

I’m asking you, because my expedite was approved. The process I had: 1. I asked the expedite. 2. NVC notified me that they’d send my request to the embassy. 3. the embassy approved my request.

@linaM can you share your steps more detail , how did you send expedite,
to whom did you ask the expedite.
how did you get that NVC sent your request to the embassy?
when did you start filling?
I started Aug '23 and still says in review.

@linaM not yet.. how long did it take them to send your request to the embassy and get the approval? did you also receive a message that it was undergoing administrative processing before it was sent/approved?

hello everyone. My PD is sep/22. I was current before getting DQ (current on Jan 1 /24 and DQ a few days after that) I was in Colombia, where the embassy works very well, so I expected to have the interview from February to May, but nothings happened. since my daughter was expecting to enter the college on fall 2024 (she had been accepted), I requested an expedite on May 6th. I receive an automatic response the same day, which notified me that my request would be sent to the embassy. Two days after that, I received the notice of approval.

same thing happened to me have you got your interview yet . I been stuck on that for 2 months
