notice returned - HELP!
can anyone help me with what’s going on?
I got an update on my case status saying that USCIS sent me a notice which was returned by the post office. it also asked for me to request a copy of this notice via the e-request portal which I did. I also called in and an agent told me she would put in an e-request as well.
so I just received a response from USCIS vermouth center in my email saying they cannot respond to my inquiry at this time. ofcourse I’m panicking so I called the contact center again and I’m being told they cannot put in another e-request until after 30 days. like what? so I tell the agent that if this notice is for an appointment I could miss it. he says he can check that for me so he checks in his system and says the notice is not for an appointment or biometrics or an approval either. so now I’m freaking out like what could the notice be for? I’ve been waiting for an update on my case for almost 3 years.
I also recently moved so idk if that’s the issue? can someone tell me what notice that could possibly be? what else can I do?

Might be change of address acknowledgement if you request change of address

talk with u congress man, they can help u, and send an ar-11 form to change your address, everything with Vawa case should submit by mail with u signature.

If you have a lawyer please ask them to email USCIS..this happened to me as this was for rfe. changed my address online twice..got confirmation and it still wasn’t changed.. had to call USCIS to explain to them that another rfe was sent but this time sent to my old address and I didn’t get it until the day before the appointment.

What was the receipt they sent you? Because now I have the same case. After three years, they sent me something and they're showing they missed it, but I haven't changed my address since I submitted the application.
