ricka - I would give them a call instead. they don't always respect those deadlines. 🙈 and if you haven't yet, try to expedite via your congress representative too. though, if you applied in June for the EAD, you might still be within the normal processing times. so for them to accept to expedite your request, your case must be super strong in THEIR eyes. 👀

just putting this out there, many visa and other applications have quotas. seeing it's .December you may need to wait for an out come from this notice you just received. if you go to us immigration news update on YouTube, they post a video on a regular basis to give updates on current information.

They told me that but I never got a response from them I had to call them .

same here, told me that and I’m still waiting 42 days later, even when it was with congressman

l think going through Congress people has it's good and bad points. l tried it got me no place. if USCIS/NVC send a letter give them the time frame they state, then call them. it's a process. 7 days is not a long time to wait.

@lilo I expedited on August 26 no response did another October 19 it was assigned to an officer with no response and was told that it was unassigned as of today so I have no idea i might as well wait until they start processing June since they as may now 🤷‍♀️

@ricka mc no nothing at all they just kept on saying the same thing and after the 7 days I would call them they would just put request ... I got fed up and contacted my congress man they reach out to them and reply that they won't expedite my case but 8 days after I got an email from uscis asking for evidences and sent them but they still denied it 8 days after my EAD got approved.

but it doesn't hurt to try not everyone have the same luck you might try and it works out good for you nothing beats a try but a failure.

I expedited one month ago and they keep telling the same things. really disappointed
